ITS PKU Muh Surakarta collaborated with the Association for the Nursery Science in Muhammadiyah-’Aisyiyah Institutions (AIPNEMA) to conduct the Annual Meeting (RTA) and 2021 AIPNEMA National Seminar. By the theme “The Implementation of Independent Learning and Independent Campus in Nursery Science of Muhammadiyah-’Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions (MHEI)”, the agenda was conducted online and offline, Thursday-Saturday (11-13/11).
Dr Mundzakir, SKep, Ns, MKep as the Keynote Speaker and the Chairman of AIPNEMA, mentioned AIPNEMA as an organization that covered the educational institutions for nursery science have the courage to support the demands and carry out the Independent Learning and Independent Campus (MBKM) program. “Therefore, in the Annual Meeting, AIPNEMA reviews and synergize in the implementation of MBKM program in the Nursery Sciece,” he said. The national seminar was expected to benefit the lecturers in MHEIs to modify the learning model according to the rapid development. Moreover, it can develop a curriculum that refers to SNPT (National Standard of Higher Education), KKNI (National Qualification Framework), MBKM programs, and the Muhammadiyah organization.
Sri Mintarsih, the chief committee and the Vice-Rector III of ITS PKU Muh Surakarta, explained that 700 participants followed the Annual Meeting and National Seminar. It comprises 200 online participants for the Annual Meeting and 500 hybrid participants for the National Seminar from the Nursery science study program educators all over Indonesia.
Weni Hastuti, PhD as the Rector of ITS PKU Muh Surakarta, also appreciated the trust given to ITS PKU Muh Surakarta as the host of this meeting. “The trust given for ITS PKU Muh Surakarta is a noble thing. As one of MHEIs, we keep developing and setting up to be an excellent institution. We are always improving to establish alongside with other developed MHEIs,” she said.
Also attended as the Keynote Speakers, Prof. Lincolin Arsyad, MSc. PhD, the Chairman of Muhammadiyah Council for Higher Education, Research, and Development; Weni Hastuti, M. Kes., Ph.D., the Rector of ITS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta. And the resource persons in the national seminar Dr. Ir. Paristiyanti Nurwardani, MP, the Secretary of Directorate General of Higher Education; Puguh Widiyanto, S. Kp., M. Kep., the Vice-Rector I of Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang; Haryanto, Ph.D.,the head of STIK Universitas Muhammadiyah Pontianak; Cemy Nur Fitriya, S. Kep., Ns., M. Kep., the Vice-Rector I of ITS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta; Suratmi, S. Kep., M.Kep., the Head of Nursery Science Study Program Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan.
