The Rector of Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. DR. Hamka (Uhamka), Prof Dr Gunawan Suryoputro, inaugurated Dr Dan Mugisidi as the Dean of Engineering Faculty for 2021-2025. The inauguration of Dan Mugisidi as to continue the previous leadership of the Dean of Engineering Faculty in 2017-2021, Dr Sugema. It was located in the AR Fachruddin Hall, the Economics and Business Faculty Building, Uhamka. As reported on the Uhamka official, the Daily Advisory Board (BPH) Uhamka also attended the inauguration.
Nuswantoro and Dr Anwar Abbas, BPH Uhamka leaders, directly witnessed the procession in the Hall. Meanwhile, another BPH leader, Prof Dr Kahmad, witnessed the inauguration online through Zoom Meeting. Besides Prof Kahmad, the lecturers followed the agenda via Zoom Meeting. It aimed to apply a strict health protocol. Moreover, in AR Fachruddin Hall, several Muhammadiyah Province Board (PWM) DKI Jakarta, Sun’an Miskan, Edi Sukardi, and the Vice-Rector IV Uhamka, Bunyamin also presented on the agenda.
In his remarks, Prof Gunawan highly appreciated Dr Sugema due to the management improvement, the Catur Dharma ‘Four Values’ development, and many others. Afterwards, Prof Gunawan also prompted Dr. Dan Mugisidi to continue and optimize the achievements and reminded him to increase the accreditation status of the Engineering Faculty. “We should pay attention, understand, and comprehend the meaning when oath-taking session. Because, it could become a guideline in carrying out the duties to achieve Allah’s blessing, “he concluded.
