Universitas Muhammadiyah Kendari (UM Kendari) launched the Master Program of Management Studies by the Ministerial decree of the Ministry for Education, Research, and Technology Number 301/E/O/2022. The decree was submitted by the Division Head of Administration of Higher Education Service Institute (LLDikti) Regional IX Sultanbatara, Munawir Sadzali Razak SIP, MA, and witnessed by the Secretary of Muhammadiyah Council for Higher Education, Research, and Development (CHERD), Muhammad Sayuti, Wednesday (18/05).
The Rector of UM Kendari, Amir Mahmud mentioned that UM Kendari, in the last two years, had established new study programs, including Information Technology, and the Master Program of Agribusiness and Management. “Our academic civitas is processing administrative requirements for the Master program of Law and Educational Administration. Currently, Unmuh Kendari has 20 study programs to be managed,” he said.
Muhammad Sayuti also appreciated and was thankful for the Unmuh Kendari achievement to receive the decree to establish the Master Program of Management Studies. With this establishment, Unmuh Kendari would be distinct from other higher education institutions. “There are three strengths that make Universitas Muhammadiyah Kendari develop in a particular way other than various campuses comprise da’wa spirit, amal jariyah (the ongoing charity that brings continuous benefit), and amal sholeh (good deeds) in Muhammadiyah,” he added. He also mentioned that Muhammadiyah CHERD would keep encouraging to establish the Graduate Programs, especially for Unmuh Kendari which has completed the quality standard. [] CHERD / UM Kendari
