The discussion series of Muhammadiyah Studies continued on Monday (26/04). Muhammadiyah Council for Higher Education, Research, and Development (CHERD) held the third RisetMu Research Dissemination of Covid-19 scheme. The agenda was conducted online in the official Youtube account. The theme of this third edition was “Philanthropy and Social Solidarity.” After Lukman Hakim, as the Master of Ceremony, opened the agenda, he handed the discussion over to the Moderator, Nurhadi. Nurhadi was a member of RisetMu grant and a UGM Social Development and Welfare lecturer.
At first, Nurhadi explained the theme by comparing the philanthropy initiative actions, starting from the nation, company, and community in undergoing the philanthropy actions as social solidarity. Afterwards, Nurhadi introduced the researchers one by one who presented their research.
At first, Budi Santoso from Unimuda Sorong presented research entitled “The Contribution of LazisMu in Fostering Mu’alaf of Abun Tribe in Sorong.” He researched with Jaharudin and Farchamulloh. Afterwards, Nur Kholidah from UM Pekajangan Pekalongan presented her research about “An Analysis of Zakat Utilization in the Covid-19 Pandemic towards Poverty, Material Value, and Spiritual Index of the Beneficiaries”. Nur Kholidah did the research with Muftahur Rahman Hakim. The following presentation was Sadikin from ITB Ahmad Dahlan entitled “Humanitarian Attempt of MDMC in Handling the Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia”.
Afterwards, Reza Asra from UM Sidenreng Rappang presented the research entitled “Analysis of Yard Utilization Effectiveness from Muhammadiyah Members in Supporting The Food Security in Covid-19 Pandemic Period in Sidenreg Rappang”. Reza did the study with Trisnawaty A.R. Lastly, Ridhiyatul Fithri from STKIP ‘Aisyiyah Riau presented her research “Social Reality Construct of Muhamadiyah Member to Philanthropy Body of Muhammadiyah (LAZISMU) in the Covid-19 Pandemic”. To conclude, Lukman Hakim reminded the researchers to report their outputs of the research.
