Institute for Research and Social Service (LPPM) UM Palembang was trusted by The Agency of Human Resource Development (BPSDM) of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendragi) in conducting the technical guidance (bimtek) for 20 members of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Bangka Barat, in Batiqa Hotel Palembang, Tuesday-Friday (27-30/04).

By theme ‘Optimization of Role and Function for DPRD Leaders and Members in Supporting The Local Development” attended by Vivin Gunawas, S.STP., MA from BPSDM of Kemendagri; Drs. Lukman Nul Hakim, M.Si., from the Ministry of Village and Disadvantaged Regions; Benny Boy, S.PSi., MCH as Motivator, Psychological and Health Consultant as the resource persons.

The Vice-Rector IV, Dr. Antoni MHI, appreciated BPSDM Kemendagri and DPRD Bangka Barat, who have selected UM Palembang as the organizer of technical guidance. “We hope that the synergy between DPRD Bangka Barat and UM Palembang can continue to the other fields,” he said as reported on the UM Palembang site.
