Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) students had won various achievements from the provincial, national and international levels in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.
UMMI Student Affairs as the coordinator of all student activities, gave appreciation and rewards to all outstanding students. The award was given on Friday (03/02) in the UMMI Auditorium. Also attending the award, were among others the Vice Chancellor III, Vice Chancellor I, the Deans of each Faculty, and the Heads of Study Programs.
In his remarks, Dr. Andri Moewashi IH, S.Th.I., M.M., the Vice Chancellor III of UMMI was proud because there were so many achievements from the students in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.
In this semester, students had won competitions from various categories and levels, for the provincial level they won 9 categories, while 29 categories at the national level and also 26 categories at the international level, the total rewards for the students were 38,500,000.
“Our highest appreciation to all students who have competed since mid-2022. Today is our appreciation that we have planned for a long time,” he said.
Dr. Andri also explained that currently, he had proposed to the Chancellor to provide additional rewards in tuition subsidies for these outstanding students. He hoped that the students would be more motivated to excel. Lastly, Dr. Andri hoped that all students could continue to maintain their achievements or even be able to improve the achievements they had received.
