Tapak Suci UMMI Bagged 17 International Medals

Tapak Suci Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) won 17 medals at the 2023 Bandung Lautan Api International Championship held at ITB Jatinangor Futsal Sports Hall, Saturday-Sunday (7-8/01). The medals included 6 Gold, 5 Silver and 6 Bronze.

The winners of this championship were Silvia Maulida, Muhammad Raf Sanjani, Galih Septemberiansyah, Hilda Nuraeni, Arya Bagas Pradikta, Risa Benazeer, Firman Nurhakim, Diki Hermawan, Galuh Septemberiansyah, Muhammad Helmy Assalamy, Anisa Agusti, Dede Warisa, Salsa Najwa, Putri Ramadhani, Alfyan Ramadhani, Muhammad Bima Nafis M, and Rahmadi Kholidin.

Long before the competition was held, the UMMI Tapak Suci team had prepared their athletes to compete by doing intense training.

Gilang Septemberiansyah, one of the gold medalists in the Class A Men’s Student/Adult Competition, mentioned that long before the competition, he and his friends had prepared themselves by doing physical exercises and kicking practice.

Alhamdulillah, I am so grateful and proud to be the champion,” said Gilang. He hopes he and his friends can improve their achievements for future competitions.

On the other hand, Dede Warisa, a female athlete who joined the competition for the first time, explained that it was a fascinating experience. Although she met a challenge, it did not dampen his spirits. In the future, Dede hopes she can improve her achievements.
