Badminton Club of Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (PB UNIMUS) received a visit from UMS Badminton Club in UNIMUS Multi-purpose Stadium. They played a friendly match on Saturday (11/02). Ten men’s doubles pairs from UMS Badminton Club were directly received by the Vice Rector II UNIMUS, Dr Hardiwinoto, S.E., M.Si. In his remarks, he highly appreciated the visit. “Besides practice, it is good to elevate the togetherness between Muhammadiyah Higher Education Institutions (MHEIs). With this brotherhood, insyaAllah all MHEIs will gain unlimited blessings”. In the end of his remarks, he also explained that they also planned a visit to UMS in the future.

Before the friendly match, it started with the opening ceremony and social gathering. The players who competed involved lecturers and educational personnel in these two institutions. The match used rally-point in two sets without a win, not as part of a competition. It was a lively match punctuated with jokes and laughter. It showed the warm togetherness from the two institutions. After the tenth game, it ended with them having dinner together.
