However, he emphasized the non-military challenges including terrorism, separatism, drug traffic, natural disaster, and cybercrime. He also mentioned the national vision. “The national vision is the way of thinking of Indonesian about themselves and their land in prioritizing the unity and oneness and regional unity based on Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, Bhineka Tunggal Ika (unity in diversity), and the Republic of Indonesia as national consensus,” Kasiter emphasized in front of 2,400 new students.
Therefore, the Alumni of the Indonesian Military Academy invited and highlighted all students to face various challenges to strengthen the national vision based on Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, Bhineka Tunggal Ika (unity in diversity), and the Republic of Indonesia.

“The Mandate of Constitution mentioned that all citizens have the responsibility to participate in the national defense according to their capabilities and professions. Every nation also has the right to support the national defense assisting the Indonesian Military and Police,” he added.
“Although it has different conditions, you are probably familiar with BTS (the Korean Boyband), right? they have a responsibility to participate in military service to defend their country,” Kasiter said. At the end of the presentation, UMRI Vice-Rector III, Dr Jufrizal Syachri, MSi, handed over the certificate of appreciation to Kasiter.
