Universitas Muhammadiyah Maluku Utara (UMMU) won four awards from the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) Region XII in 2023. The awards include the first-best award for the most numerous study programs accredited B or Baik Sekali, the most numerous lecturer certification awards, the most numerous Community Service grant grantees, and the best award for the most numerous collaborations. The achievement made UMMU the campus that won the most awards in the LLDIKTI XII this year.
The award was announced at the Coordination Meeting of the Leaders of the Administrative Body and the Heads of Private Higher Education Institutions in LLDIKTI Region XII held at the Santika Ambon Hotel, Maluku on Thursday, (11/05). On this occasion, it raised the theme “Higher Education Transformation Towards Excellent Private Universities”.
UMMU was represented by the Vice Rector II, Dr. Ranita Rope, in receiving the award submitted by Drs. Isak Hendrik Sinay, M.Si, the Head of Administration Office of LLDIKTI Region XII (Maluku-North Maluku). In her remarks, Dr. Ranita Rope expressed her gratitude for the award given and mentioned that her parties will maintain the progressive spirit to produce other achievements even though UMMU is a private campus.
This achievement becomes a proof of their commitment in providing high-quality education and will be relevant to the needs of the community. UMMU also hoped that this achievement can be a motivation and inspiration for other campuses in improving the quality of education in Indonesia.
