Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD) promotes scholarship on Tuesday (19/04). The scholarship promoted was Beasiswa Pendidikan Indonesia ‘Indonesian Education Scholarship’ conducted online on Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Youtube channel and offline in Islamic Center Hall, Fourth Campus, UAD. Dr Abdul Kahar MPd, the Head of Education Financial Service Center (Puslapdik), became the resource person in this socialization. The Puslapdik is under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek). The socialization was presided by Nur Arina Hidayati, the Chairman of Education and Training Division.

Dr. Norma Sari SH MHum, the Vice-Rector for Human Resource affairs hoped the socialization could encourage lecturers in pursuing scholarships. “I hope this socialization motivates various lecturers to access the scholarship,” she said.

The Puslapdik serves the financial service for Higher Education Institutions and almost all assistance programs in Kemendikbud Ristek. Related to assistance programs, Kahar mentioned three schemes in scholarship. First, talent achievement is the best among the top 20 higher education institutions. Second, the national achievement is the champions of olympiads or other competitions. Third, Beasiswa Indonesia Maju (BIM) is the program for High School students to pursue the world’s best campus.

Kahar also expressed his expectation through this agenda. “In this year, we highly expect that UAD lecturers will gain broader opportunities to pursue Indonesian Education Scholarships. The human resources in UAD also improved in better ways,” he said.
