The Chemistry Department of Science and Technology Faculty, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) conducted the Chemistry Curriculum Workshop in Industrial Revolution 4.0 to implement Independent Learning, Independent Campus (MBKM) on Saturday (17/04).

It aimed to socialize the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in MBKM implementation to all Chemistry students, Alumni, and Stakeholders. The Head of Chemistry Departments, Lela Mukmilah, ST MSi explained that “The workshop was implemented as Chemistry Department response towards Independent Learning and Independent Campus by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makarim,” said Lela Mukmilah, as reported on the UMMI site.

The workshop was conducted online with 62 people and attended by the faculty leaders, lecturers, chemistry laboratory assistance, alumni, and stakeholders/partners from the Environmental Service Office (DLH) of Sukabumi regency and city, and the Village Head of Babakan Cisaat. Afterwards, the agenda has a follow-up program to produce Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) of internship, independent project, Implementation Agreement (IA) arrangement with collaborative partners, and deciding the Graduates Learning Achievements (CPL) with related partners.
