STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo held the discussion for milenial campus (REKAM) on Saturday (10/04). By the theme “Developing the Good Governance of STKIP Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo Campus,” the agenda was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdul Mu’ti, M.ed, and Dr. Dedi Pramono, M.Hum as the resource persons.
In his remarks, Prof Abdul Mu’thi appreciated the development of STKIP Muh Muara Bungo. He expected that the blue campus above the hill would keep rising and provide the best service on education to the society, especially for Muara Bungo. “From the hill, we create excellent nations with strong morality ‘excellence with morality,” he said.
He continued, one challenge in the Muhammadiyah campus was how we still exist and develop amid various global challenges, even the national challenges, and challenges related to “Competition with the existing Higher Education Institutions.” “STKIP Muh Muara Bungo has a huge potential with the human resource under 35 years-old. However, undoubtedly, in the rapid quality improvement era, we should compete by highlighting the quality,” he added.
On this topic, four components should be optimized by the Higher Education Institutions to survive in the competition. “The four components were human resource quality, students’ and graduates’ achievements, accreditation predicate, and contribution of Higher Education Institutions in the community,” he said.
To conclude, he highlighted the devotion spirit. “Basically, we are professionals who work based on competence, but not always measured by salary. We have to think out of the box that is portrayed by the campus with various breakthroughs,” he concluded.
