Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan ‘Institute for Health Science’ (STIKes) Muhammadiyah Klaten held the social service in the Muhammadiyah and ‘Aisyiyah Branch in Buntalan, Klaten (04/05).
The activity was held in Ramadhan month conducted annually by the grocery sharing and the Muhammadiyah branch development. The agenda was driven in the STIKES Muh Klaten environment, followed by 100 citizens in several different schedules avoiding the crowd with the strict health protocol.
The Head of Institute for Islamic and Muhammadiyah Studies, Syahbana, SAg MAg, explained the agenda as the gratitude with STIKES Muh Klaten achievements and the togetherness of Muslims in Holy Ramadhan month which was affected by Covid-19. “We distribute grocery package to the community nearby. Besides, we also educate the Branch about the importance of sharing and helping each other without differentiating status and from which group,” he said.
The social service activity was to distribute groceries for the elderly, duafa, and the affected people in the Covid-19 pandemic. “I hope by this activity, the relationship of STIKES Muh Klaten and the Buntalan Klaten community is getting closer and growing the supportive spirit in the dynamic life,” the Chair of STIKES Muhammadiyah Klaten, Sri Sat Titi Hamranani.
