“Take advantage of the pandemic to invest in the post-pandemic. To develop soft skills by using the time properly. Mastering the technology to support academic, plan everything in details,” said Dr Muhammad Samsudin, MPd in the Talkshow with the theme “The Investation of Milenial Generation in Post-Pandemic” held by the Mathematics department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Dahlan (UAD) online, Sunday (21/02).
As an introductory, he explained that a mathematics teacher brought someone to measure the future life in heaven because every day, the students learn about the specific activities. It includes zakat (the obligatory alms tax), rakaat (a single iteration of prescribed movements in Mulism prayer), and accurate prayer time. It could be living in a world like mathematics because life is exact, factual, and contextual. Therefore, teaching mathematics could deliver students to pursue heaven. Be the mathematics teachers that would be missed by the students, not the hateful.
Samsudin prompted the students in developing soft skills by enlarging the positive networks, mastering one of the world languages, enjoying the productive hobby, and positively utilizing social media. To deepen the spiritual and mental needs by analyzing the better worship quality and increase the religiosity aspect. Maintain health with routine exercise, create a clean and healthy environment, and consume halal and thoyyib (good) food.
“You will be rejected by the world if you do not prepare to face changes. There were two reasons someone has changed, first, the open-minded perspective and the widening the heart. Not only to transform the unproductive action to be productive. Try hard to be existing as a human being when the pandemic ends. Be careful, the most dangerous part is a comfort zone because it may captivate,” said the Secretary of Muhammadiyah CHERD.
