The related department points out that STIKES Muhammadiyah Klaten is the central isolation hospital for patients with suspected and confirmed positive COVID-19. Iskak Sulistya, Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah (PDM) representative, explained that PKU Muhammadiyah Klaten had been officially opened for the central hospital of patient COVID-19 isolation. “We also collaborate with the local and regional government to suppress the spread of COVID-19 effort,” he said.
Dien Kalbu Ady, Director of PKU Muhammadiyah Prambanan, mentioned that the hospital provided 50 beds, 3 ICUs with 3 ventilators, the emergency rooms, and other supported facilities. “With our limitations, we ask for the support towards all communities to work on well,” the member of PDM explained.
Meanwhile, Sri Mulyani, Klaten Regent, stated the establishment of this emergency hospital to handle the sharp increase of COVID-19 cases.
