STKIP Muh Kuningan Collaborated with Cisantana Developing Village Potential

STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan agreed to build cooperation by signing the Memorandum of Understanding with Cisantana Village, Cigugur sub-district, Kuningan in the local village office, Thursday (19/8).

Also presented, Head of STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan, Nanan Abdul Manan, M.Pd accompanied by Vice Chairperson II of Asset and Human Resources Department, Hermawan, M.Si; Head of Community Services Institute (LPPM), Nana Sutarna, M.Pd.; Tio Heriyana, M.Pd; and the secretariat team. STKIP lecturer who lived in Cisantana, Rita Kusuma, M.Pd, also attended.

Nanan Abdul Manan expressed his gratitude to the village head and other officers. He ensured that STKIP and Cisantana could collaborate well in research, education, and community services. It also could strengthen both potentials,” he said. Cisantana Village is the largest village in Kuningan, with the existent potential in the agribusiness and the tourism fields. He hoped that they could learn and practice the implementation strategy of village potentials so the students could learn from that.

Nanan added that, shortly, there would be Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta student group, which has been collaborated with STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan, to do the thematics community services (KKN) in Cisantana. Afterwards, Ono Suratno, A.Md. explained that Cisantana currently shifted its priority from agribusiness to the tourism sector. “We keep mapping the area which has potential in the tourism, and we are glad if there is a higher education institution which invites us to collaborate, and we challenge STKIP Muhammadiyah academicians to collaborate.
