UMSIDA Strengthen Campus Collaboration Amidst Scientific and Technology Development

Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (UMSIDA) received the visit to collaborate with Universitas Bangka Belitung (Unmuh Babel) on Monday (15/08). The visit was located in the Meeting Room on the First Floor of the UMSIDA Rectorate Building. To welcome, the Vice-Rector III UMSIDA, the Vice Dean I of the Economics Faculty, the Head and Secretary of Management department, the Head of Management Laboratory, the Management lecturers, and the Head of Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) attended in the Rectorate Building. The representatives of the Economics and Business Faculty also attended the meeting. The collaboration aimed to implement the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) program.

The Vice Rector III, Eko Hardiansyah, M.Psi. warmly welcomed the visit. “Welcome to Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Alhamdulillah, we can meet here, today. I hope our meeting benefits both institutions,” he said. Furthermore, he also added that collaboration among higher education institutions in the information disclosure era became important. Because the institution can not be developed without a collaborative program with other institutions.

Furthermore, Dr Nizwan Zukhri MM, the Vice Rector I Unmuh Babel expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome of UMSIDA boards. “Alhamdulillah, we finally here in Sidoarjo. We appreciate the warm welcome. I also hope it can bring benefits to all of us. We should learn from UMSIDA because it was established first,” he said. He also highlighted in this rapid development era, collaboration could elevate institutional performance.

The visit from Unmuh Babel was also conducted to start a collaborative program in implementing Tri Dharma of Higher Education Institutions, including the teaching, research and development, and community service. Through this first collaboration stage, it would be a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) from both parties. “Alhamdulillah, we can learn from UMSIDA,” Dr Nizwan Zukhri MM said.
