Universitas Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung (Unmuh Babel) rescinded their students from the Field Introduction of School (PLP) program from 39 schools on Friday (03/02). This program was located on Pangkalpinang and Central Bangka. It involved 386 students from four study programs in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Previously, they had undergone ten days service since last Tuesday (24/01). It raised the theme “To prepare Educational Personnels that CETAR (Smart, Eligible, Exemplary, Adaptive, and Religious”.
On this PLP, the students had implemented observation and internship to explore learning aspects and school management in the education unit. The process was through intra curricular and extracurricular activities in the elementary, junior and senior high schools. The headmaster of Sekolah Alam Pangkalpinang (SAPKA), M. Arifin Saddoen, MPd highly appreciated Unmuh Babel students in a certificate of appreciation for the collaborative program in PLP. “Unmuh Babel students are very cooperative and have positive intentions to learn,” he said.
Similar to Arifin, Rofiqoh, the headmaster of SMA 4 Pangkalpinang, responded positively to students’ high motivation to learn in the PLP program. In addition, Ferly Fauzia M.A from SD Mutiara Harapan, Pangkalpinang, also appreciated Unmuh Babel students’ motivation who were able to implement their curriculum in English.
