South Sulawesi Governor Awards 500 Million Grant for UIAD

The Rector of Universitas Islam Ahmad Dahlan (UIAD) Sinjai, Dr. Firdaus, M.Ag received a grant of 500 million rupiah from the South Sulawesi Provincial Government. It was handed over directly by the South Sulawesi Governor, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, S.T.

The grant awarded on the 459th Sinjai Anniversary (HJS) Commemoration event at the Sinjai Regent’s House (Rujab) Court, Persatuan Raya Street, Monday morning, (27/02).

As reported, the Grant Fund from the South Sulawesi Provincial Government will be used for the Computer Laboratory in UIAD which was formerly called the Institute of Islamic Studies Muhammadiyah (IAIM) Sinjai.

“We are certainly grateful and express our gratitude to the South Sulawesi Provincial Government, Mr. Governor for this grant assistance. It is certainly a commitment to build human resources in South Sulawesi, especially in the Sinjai Regency by supporting better facilities,” he said.

As is known, UIAD Sinjai, which is located on Sultan Hasanuddin Street No. 20. Sinjai Regency, has also invited the Governor of South Sulawesi, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman to inaugurate the seven-floor K.H. Ahmad Dahlan Building and lay its cornerstone of the nine-floor Panrita Kitta Building.
