The Health Science Institute ‘Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan’ (STIKes) Muhammadiyah Ciamis held the nurses’ pledge procession of Diploma-III Nursery Science on Wednesday (10/11). The agenda was conducted in KH Ahmad Dahlan Auditorium and held offline and online. The Head of STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis, H Dedi Supriadi SKep Ners MKes, and the Head of D-III Nursery Science Study Program and team attended this procession. Sixty-three students followed the pledge-taking procession offline with a strict health protocol. The mask-wearing and body temperature-checking became requirements to participate in this meeting.

Moreover, after the Qur’an reciting and National Anthem and ‘Sang Surya’ singing, the pledge-taking procession on the ‘Inauguration procession and Pledge-taking of Associate Expert of Nursery Profession’ began. The Province Board of The Indonesia National Nurse Association (DPW PPNI) West Java, H Wawan Hernawan SKep MKep led the procession. Moreover, the Head of the Regional Board of PPNI Ciamis, H Acep Jhoni Heriyanto SSos SKep Ners MM, also accompanied.

Afterwards, in his remarks, H Dedi Supriadi congratulated and appreciated. “I was grateful to all health workers as the implementation of nursery science learning to be heroes to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic. Congratulation, and I give my blessing for the success to all students that have finished their studies. I hope you can be health workers who can compete globally and in the rapid digital development era,” he said as reported on the official STIKes Muh Ciamis site.
