Religious Department of English Student Association (ESA) of the Institute for Islamic Studies Muhammadiyah Sinjai (IAIM Sinjai) succeeded in conducting the training of applying rules for reciting the Qur’an (tajwid) on its first day. The Qur’an Learning Center (TPQ) of Kampung Quran Lappa Anni in Massaile Village, Tellulimpoe, becomes the location of the agenda. Ustadz Munir, the founder, delivered a speech to open the ceremony. ESA IAIM also distributed the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) IAIM Sinjai assistance. In addition, the Al-Qur’an donation was handed over by LP2M to the Chairman of the Religious Department of ESA, Ulfatushaliha. The agenda was conducted in two days, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 1-2 June 2021. When the activity is implemented, two daily boards of ESA, Zulkiram, and Ulfatushaliha provided tajwid training to 6-15 years students in two groups.

“In the first year of our leadership, ESA, the association from English Teacher of IAIM Sinjai, conducted the community service in three villages, namely Massaile, Saotengah, and Tongke-Tongke,” the Chairman of ESA, Andi Muammar K said. Meanwhile, Massaile Village was the latest location of ESA IAIM Sinjai service.

The Head of Department of Language Teacher ‘Tadris Bahasa’ IAIM Sinjai, Harmilawati, SS MPd, was responsible for this agenda. “We believe if we started from small steps, it would become a great achievement.
