Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang (UM Palembang) conducted Design Training and Website Management for the students, last Tuesday (30/06). The agenda was held after several collaborative agreements from various businesses and industries with UMP. This collaboration becomes a part of supporting the Independent Learning-Independent Campus (MBKM) policy.

Previously, UM Palembang passed the Independent Learning-Independent Campus assistance program (PKKM) selection on Second League, 2021. At that time, three study programs were qualified for the Ministry of Education and Culture Indonesia program. One of those departments was Institutional Support System (ISS), a system to help develop the higher education institutions’ management system.

The Vice-Rector II Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang, Dr Hj Fatimah SE MSi, opened the agenda. She said that ISS has effective programs, including synchronizing UM Palembang policies to MBKM programs and elevating ICT-based service quality towards UMP academic civitas. The improvement of service quality was portrayed in the students’ Design Training and Website Management, which was conducted recently.

“By the program implementation, hopefully, the service quality towards UM Palembang academic civitas can increase the acceleration, accuracy, effectivity, and efficiency,” she said. In this circumstance, the Chairman of the Institute for Quality Assurance Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang, Dr Asvic Helida SHut MSc, also attended the agenda.
