An encouraging news once again heard from Universitas Islam Ahmad Dahlan (UIAD) Sinjai after the issuance of the Decree and Certificate of Accreditation for the Al-Qur’an and Tafsir Science (IAT) Study Program, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Communication (FUKIS).
The Decree and Certificate of Accreditation of the Director of the Executive Board of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) with No: 135 / SK / BAN-PT / AK / IV / 2023 concerning the Accreditation Rating of the IAT Study Program, FUKIS, UIAD Sinjai declared to meet the requirements of the ‘Unggul’ Excellent Accreditation rating as of April 26, 2023.
The news was welcomed with gratitude and joy by the all UIAD Sinjai academic community, especially in the Al-Qur’an and Tafsir Science Study Program (IAT) which became a record breaker for becoming Excellent Accredited Study Program at the UIAD Sinjai. “Our preparation for the re-accreditation of the study program goes quite long, which is two years. As the Chairperson of the Study Program and the Team Leader, I am truly grateful to all stakeholders involved, including all Faculty leaders, lecturers, students, alumni, partners of collaboration, recruiters and any parties who are involved,” said Siar Ni’mah, the Chairperson of the IAT Study Program.
She also emphasized that the achievement of this superior accreditation is a joint achievement, especially for the re-accreditation team who worked very hard in the process. “In the future, we in the Study Program will continue to synergize with all parties, as well as continue to make improvements and development towards a better direction,” continued Siar Ni’mah. Separately, the same thing was also conveyed by the Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Communication UIAD Sinjai, Suriati did not forget to express her gratitude and thanks to all stakeholders who have been involved in the Reaccreditation of IAT Study Program.
“I highly appreciate the support and cooperation so far, starting from the preparation of Performance Report (LKPS) and Self-Evaluation Report (LED) to Field Assessment (AL), because everyone is involved (to the process), the results alhamdulillah, can be optimized,” she said. The Excellent Accreditation of IAT Study Program will be valid until April 26, 2028. With this result, the following is the accreditation of each study program at UIAD: Islamic Studies (PAI) (B), Islamic Elementary School Education (PGMI) (Excellent), Arabic Language Education (PBA) (Excellent), Mathematics Education (TM) (Good), Indonesian Language Education (TBI) (Good), Islamic Guidance and Counseling (BPI) (B), Al-Qur’an and Tafsir (IAT) (Excellent), Islamic Communication and Broadcasting (KPI) (Good), Sharia Economics (EKOS) (Good), Islamic Law (HPI) (Good), Sharia Banking (PSY) (Good) and Master Program of Islamic Studies (Good).
