STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan Organized KMMI Program of Kemendikbud-Ristek

STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan achieved prideful recognition. With other Muhammadiyah-‘Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions (MHEI)s, they became program organizers in the Micro-Credential of Indonesian Students (KMMI). It was a program of the Indonesia Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud-Ristek) in 2021. This prideful news was written on the Directorate General of Higher Education letter, Saturday (26/6). Two selection processes comprised the proposal and presentation selection.

Atang Sutisna, the Head of the Curriculum Development Board (LPK), explained that STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan (STKIPMKu) was one of 85 higher education institutions in Indonesia that achieved a grant for KMMI organizer in 2021. It proved that STKIPMKu was a competitive institution. As reported on the official STKIPMKu site, Anang mentioned the two specific programs on Thursday (1/7). “The programs consist of a course to develop a marketplace in the web application and online store as a platform of online trade transactions. Meanwhile, the second program was a course to create Landing Page to the MSME products,” Atang said. This achievement was a result of the hard work of the team. The team comprises the Informational Data Source Centre (SDI), with Sofhian Fazrin Nasrullah as the coordinator.

Moreover, the KMMI program would be implemented based on the STKIPMKu vision, excellence in education, technology, and entrepreneurship. Head of STKIP Muh Kuningan, Nanan Abdul Manan, expressed his gratitude for the STKIP Muh Kuningan achievement and several MHEIs that passed the Independent Campus, Independent Learning program. “Undoubtedly, it was a prideful achievement for STKIPMKu to have an opportunity to become a higher education institution organizing the KMMI program,” he said.

Besides STKIPMKu, several MHEIs which passed KMMI-2021 were Universitas Muhammadiyah Ceribon, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik, Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makasar, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya, Universitas Muhammadiyah Pringsewu, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan and Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara.
